Jacob Ramsey has signed a new Aston Villa contract to 2027.
The England Under-21s midfielder has been a standout star for Steven Gerrard's side this season and has been rewarded with a fresh deal.
"It's a proud moment for me, especially for my family," he told VillaTV.
"I've been here a long time now, come through the Academy, and to sign for another five years at this club, I'm over the moon."
He added: "There's so many people who have helped me get to this point now, I can't thank everyone enough from Under-9s, to being a scholar, to U23s and then stepping up to the first team.
"It's been good; a lot of up and down moments but it's all part of the journey and I feel like I've been playing well this season so it's nice to be rewarded with a new contract."
