Manchester United boss Ralf Rangnick was full of praise for Anthony Elanga after victory over Norwich City.
The 19-year-old's versatility impressed United interim boss Ralf Rangnick in our 3-2 Old Trafford win against Norwich City on Saturday.
The Swedish international started ahead of Marcus Rashford as Rangnick had to make a decision on his attacking personnel against the Canaries.
But Elanga also proved his worth as a makeshift right-back later on in the game as United looked to hold onto the lead.
“I had to decide between him (Marcus) and Anthony Elanga today (against Norwich)," he told a post-match press conference.
“I think Anthony, not only did he do well when he prepared the first goal, he also played for the first time in his career as a right-back and did well in the last 20 minutes, the way he defended.
“He won most of the balls on his side in those 20 minutes and then Marcus came on for the last 25 minutes."
