Roma boss Jose Mourinho has spoken about his sacking at Tottenham last season.

Mourinho was fired by Spurs chief Daniel Levy six days before his side was to play in the Carabao Cup final.

The London outfit went on to lose that final, and Mourinho has been relatively successful at Roma this term.

"In my long career with so many things that happened to me for good for bad, that one is quite unique, but I also think Mr Levy is quite a unique person," said Mourinho to reporters.

Spurs went on to replace Mourinho with Nuno Espirito Santo, before sacking him within a few months and hiring Antonio Conte, who is still in charge of the team.
