Barcelona president Joan Laporta is upbeat on Gavi signing a new deal.
Laporta took advantage of Ronald Araujo's contract renewal ceremony to reveal who will be next.
“Araujo is part of this generation of Araujo, Pedri, Nico and Ansu Fati.
"We hope we have good news with Gavi soon, it's being worked on. There is a process," said the president at Camp Nou.
Araujo's negotiations lasted a while but in the end the club and the player's agents came to an agreement and a deal was signed that will keep him at Barcelona until 2026.
