Kota Kinabalu: Members of the public are reminded not to fall prey to tactics by scamming syndicates claiming to be enforcement officers such as police, Customs or someone from the Inland Revenue Board (LHDN).
President of the West Coast Smart Consumers Association, David Chan said there had been many cases of fraud that involved scam syndicates who fooled victims into believing fake calls carried out by scammers.
