Kota Kinabalu: The Sabah Commercial Vehicle Licensing Board will increase express bus ticket fares by 10 per cent from Apr 29 to May 8 in view of the Aidilfitri festive season.
Its Chairman Datuk Chin Kim Hiung, in a statement, said 14.3 cents (RM0.143) would be imposed for each kilometre travelled, compared to 13 cents previously.
He said the board will also open up applications for a Temporary Operator Licence for eligible express bus operators for them to provide more buses during the festive season.
