SANDAKAN: A contractor was charged with submitting false claim worth RM76,320 for 1Malaysia Mobile Boat Clinic (KB1M) Operation and Management Services at Kinabatangan Area Health Office.
Rosli Mohamad, 47, pleaded not guilty before Sessions Court Judge Abu Bakar Manat, to the charge against him.
Rosli is accused committing the offence by submitting the false claim which was delivery order under the Syarikat Raid Enterprise dated Dec 2, 2019 for annual docking services under the contract of 1Malaysia Mobile Boat Clinic (KB1M) Operation and Management Services for the period of March 1, 2019 until Feb 28, 2020.
The charge stated that the services were actually not carried out by the company and the offence allegedly took place at the Kinabatangan Area Health Office on Dec 2, 2019.
The court released Rosli on a bail of RM10,000 with RM8,000 deposited in a local surety.
Counsel Chin Tek Ming defended Rosli.
Meanwhile, Rosli’s friend Akri Jaya Ridwan, was also charged with abetting with Rosli in committing the offence.
Akri was offered bail of RM10,000 with RM5,000 deposited in a local surety.
The court set June 21 for mention.
