He told the club's website: "It is an honour to be able to accompany the Valencianistas again, and get together again in a place where we had a very happy time. It will bring back beautiful memories and I hope that we will update them with this final that is coming up.
"We are thankful to be able to experience a final again, even if it is from another section of the stadium. There is still the same excitement as 23 years ago. I hope history repeats itself. It would bring me immense joy.
"I remember moments from the game and, above all, I remember the end, the joy that we experienced because of what we achieved after a lot of struggle. I still get goosebumps remembering that game. There is part of that squad that were my friends as well as my teammates. It was a sensational year."
