Thomas Tuchel has backed a Chelsea fan who was involved in an incident with captain Cesar Azpilicueta.
The incident occured at the final whistle after his side's 4-2 loss to Arsenal at home in the Premier League on Wednesday.
Azpilicueta went to the fan after the defeat, and the two exchanged words in a heated manner.
Tuchel was not happy with his team after the loss, and refused to speak critically of the supporter.
He said post-game: "I was not part of it. I saw it, but honestly, I can understand the fan."
He added on the game: "It's a level of mistakes, the number of mistakes in consecutive games here at home. It's impossible at this kind of level. You don't see this. It's simply impossible - but we're doing this at the moment and you cannot win football games like this.
"They get full praise when they do it, when they did it for the last three matches. And they have to face the reality that it's impossible to win matches if you make this amount of mistakes of this calibre. It's simply impossible."
