TAWAU: A male doctor with a private clinic lost over half a million Ringgit to a Macau Scam syndicate that disguised themselves as police and Ministry of Health (MOH) officers – the second doctor to fall victim within a month.
District police chief ACP Jasmin Hussin said the victim, in his 30s, lost RM747,000 when he made 16 transactions in several different accounts since the first incident on Jan. 27, this year till early March.
