Leeds United boss Jesse Marsch admits there's pros and cons to their 16 day break.

Leeds drew 0-0 at Crystal Palace on Monday night after the extended break.

Marsch told LUFC TV: “To be fair to Crystal Palace, they pushed the game, they came at us in a lot of different ways and were able to unbalance us. However, it was a night where we fought and we bent, but we didn't break, which is the big thing.

“We're now two games without giving up a goal, we're getting more and more confidence with how we defend, especially in the last third, we just need to be a little bit more dangerous and use the ball more effectively in certain moments. We talked over the break about doing simple things a little bit better and things were a little bit too static at certain times, but the effort, concentration and defensive end of set-pieces was quite good.

“I don't think the Premier League has ever seen a table look so lop-sided in terms of games played, with teams having less than others, in the 16 day break we were able to work on some things, but then we lacked game sharpness and fitness, but overall it was a big point, a big defensive effort and we move forward."
