Inter Miami striker Gonzalo Higuain has denied he plans to retire at the end of the year.
Higuain's father made the claim earlier this week.
But former Juventus and Real Madrid striker Higuain says: “It was a misunderstanding, it can happen, but it has nothing to do with reality.
“I am fully committed to the club and the day I will take this decision, I will be the one saying it. Only me. What my dad or other people say, has nothing to do with what I do.
“I will be the first one to say something, right now I am only thinking about this club and seeing out my contract here."
