Norwich defender Pierre Lees-Melou lamented defeat at Manchester United.
Lees-Melou felt Norwich City were hard done by to lose 3-2 against Manchester United at Old Trafford on Saturday.
“It's a disappointing result because we made a good start and had a big opportunity with Teemu," he said. “We gave away a stupid goal but we showed today we are a compact team with solidarity because we came back to score two goals and then Ronaldo had the free-kick.
“I want to say we were a little bit unlucky because we had opportunities and we lost this game.
“We showed good spirit. It's never easy when you're losing 2-0 against United in their stadium to come back. We did that but then there was the free-kick."
He has played the last two games in the number ten position and is enjoying his central attacking role.
“At the moment, I'm on the pitch and I like it," he said. “I've played number ten for two games and I have lots of space around the box, so I can give assists like last week. I like this position also."
