Arsenal are closing on a new contract agreement with Khayon Edwards.
Football.London says the teenage sensation has been involved in talks over his future with the Gunners for months amid interest from elsewhere.
Edwards has been a star in the youth ranks and is now close to penning a pro deal at the Emirates. The 18-year-old is currently on a scholarship deal that will expire when the season ends.
Edwards has the same agent as Bukayo Saka, who Arsenal are also looking to tie down to an improved deal, and a contract is close to being finalised that will see the teenager remain in north London.
Chelsea, Leeds and Newcastle were among those eyeing Edwards.
