Parma goalkeeper Gigi Buffon admits he was surprised seeing Juventus choose not to renew Paulo Dybala's contract.
The Argentina striker will leave Juve when his contract expires in June.
“I didn't expect it," admitted Buffon. “But the club was clear and honest, explaining that he is no longer part of the project.
“That's why they didn't extend his contract, not because he is not good enough.
"Paulo will have other opportunities to do well in the future, but that wouldn't mean that Juventus were wrong."
