Kota Kinabalu: Basikal Lajak – modified bicycles that have become synonymous with tragedy following the Johore 2017 incident where eight teenagers were mowed to death in the wee hours by a young woman driver – is gaining popularity in Sabah, a Daily Express random survey of bicycle dealers revealed.
At the moment there are only two shops selling them, brought in from the peninsula and costing RM500-RM600. Plus another RM100 if you value your life and want brakes installed.
