Kota Kinabalu: The United States travel advisory for its citizens on security only covers a small part of Sabah – some East Coast areas under Esscom’s curfew watch.
Although a non-issue the past two years due to the global Covid-19 lockdowns, the advisory is bound to again be a factor once tourism regains its importance to the Sabah economy with the reopening of borders since April 1.
