KOTA KINABALU: Sabah registered 48 additional Covid-19 cases, today, according to the State's daily update.
"The trend of infection in all districts in Sabah remains the same, ie daily cases fluctuate on a small scale," said the update.
However, it said, the percentage of sporadic infections is still high almost every day.
"Today’s statistics show the percentage of sporadic infections rose to almost 65 per cent of all reported cases.
"This means that the risk of viral infection is still high, especially in public, crowded places.
"As such, it is strongly recommended that the use of face masks is continued, even though the flexibility is given beginning May 1."
Some 44 of the new cases today were in Category 1 and Category 2 while another four cases were in Category 4. No cases in Category 3 and Category 5 were reported today.
