Atletico Madrid president Enrique Cerezo has taken aim at Manchester City's performance last night.
A 0-0 draw in Madrid saw City reach the Champions League semifinals 1-0 on aggregate.
Cerezo said, "Atletico have too high a status for something to offend us.
"In the end, everyone saw that prehistoric football can be used by any club. Atlético showed a good game, attacked, and Manchester City played prehistoric football, putting up a wall in front of their goal, so as not to miss.
"They were exceptionally defensive. City only had one shot on target in the entire second half."
