Former PSG midfielder Jerome Rothen is urging his old club to swerve Tottenham boss Antonio Conte.

Conte's agents are touting the Italian to PSG as a replacement for coach Mauricio Pochettino.

However, Rothen is unimpressed and told RMC: "Of course, we don't need Conte at PSG. When you hear the pretensions, you have to leave him where he is.

"I'm not sure if a club like PSG can succeed, which needs to rebuild its reputation and image.

"I'm not saying that Conte is not passionate about football, but he seems more passionate about the chequebook than coaching Tottenham, PSG or another team. That would already be problematic."
