Everton boss Frank Lampard says his players will throw everything at Manchester United today.
In his match programme notes, Lampard wrote: "I am confident you will see an Everton team today playing with fight, focus and desire.
"We had two days to recover and prepare following the game at Burnley. That condensed schedule is not easy, especially when you've had to absorb a tough defeat like the one on Wednesday.
"We are in a battle to stay in the Premier League. Myself and the players were aware of that before the match in midweek and the feeling intensified following the result.
"It was an extremely tough outcome to stomach because for a long while the game was in our hands.
"We responded well to the disappointment of going behind – just as we did at West Ham last week. We created a number of opportunities to increase our advantage but were not clinical and ultimately paid for missing the chance to put the game to bed.
"The goals we conceded were the consequence of individual mistakes. It is frustrating when those slips prove so costly and that has been a theme of late.
"There is no pointing of fingers, though. We are in this together. If we score a goal, or produce an exceptional piece of play, or keep a clean sheet, it is a reward for the group.
"On the flip side if we commit an error, nobody is being isolated, it is something for the whole team to manage.
"But, ultimately, results are all that matter and where we will be judged.
"We can't afford to get caught up in the noise around our situation. And there's no use getting wrapped up in studying the league table and fixture lists.
"The only thing we need to concern ourselves with is working and fighting through this.
"I will give every ounce of myself to keeping Everton in the Premier League and have no doubt my staff and every player is going to do the same."
