Newcastle United are interested in AS Monaco defender Benoit Badiashile.
Fussball Transfers says Newcastle made an attempt in January for the youngster and intend to try again this summer.
With their Premier League status now assured, Newcastle are hopeful Badiashile and his minders will be more receptive.
Monaco have Badiashile on a contract to 2024 and will only sell for an offer of €40m or more.
The 21 year-old has long been linked with a move to England.
