Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp admits Roberto Firmino won't make tomorrow's Champions League semifinal against Villarreal.

The Brazilian has missed Liverpool's last two Premier League wins over Manchester United and Everton after picking up a foot injury during the closing moments of the FA Cup semi-final win over Manchester City at Wembley.

Firmino recently underwent a scan that revealed there was no serious damage. However, Klopp has now confirmed that the forward is not expected to return for the game against Unai Emery's side.

"I don't think [he is ready] yet," the Liverpool boss told Liverpoolfc.com. “He is running outside and that's good, obviously, but I am not sure.

“Maybe somebody will surprise me afterwards and tell me, 'Yes, Bobby is in.' [I will have] open arms, but I don't think so. Apart from that, no [new injuries] that I know yet."
