Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has paid a fresh tribute to Karim Benzema.
Benzema was in fine form against Chelsea, scoring a wonderful hat-trick, although the Italian coach isn't at all surprised at the upturn in production from the former Lyon forward over the past three seasons.
"His career is very long, he continues to improve," Ancelotti said.
"He has improved on and off the pitch, in his leadership. Karim's age makes no difference to the partner he has, in the future he will still be one of the most important players on this team.
"He has more personality, is more of a leader, but the good player has always been there."
