UEFA have provisionally suspended Roma goalkeeping coach Nuno Santos and Bodo/Glimt manager Kjetil Knutsen after last week's bust-up.
An investigation is now underway into the incident.
The two clubs met in the Europa Conference League quarter-final first leg in Norway, which ended 2-1 for the hosts last Thursday.
Santos and Knutsen were involved in a clash after the final whistle.
They have accused each other of being responsible for the attack, each claiming self-defence.
Roma host the second-leg on Thursday night.
