Crystal Palace boss Patrick Vieira has told his players to enjoy themselves for their FA Cup semifinal against Chelsea.

Vieira admits he enjoyed playing in the FA Cup as an Arsenal player.

He said, "It's been the fact that I've been in places where clubs are successful in the FA Cup. I was just part of it. This is a different club, team and ambition and it is a really good moment for the club.

"The message to the players and fans is to enjoy the day. We had a really good week of preparation and we will be ready."

On Chelsea's Champions League exit, Vieira continued: "They played well. It was a big game and they performed well. They were unlucky not to go to the semi-finals.

"We know what to expect from Chelsea. We know the team and their individual talent. We have to give our best performance. We lost 1-0 but we gave them a hard game in the league and we want the same approach. To play as best as we can and try and win the game. We're ambitious."

He added: "Tyrick [Mitchell] and Michael [Olise] have had some individual training and a little more today. We have to wait until tomorrow but they''ll only get involved if they're 100% fit."
