Manchester United striker Cristiano Ronaldo and the Arsenal home support had a special moment before kickoff today.
The Gunners hosted rivals Man United at the Emirates in a must-win game for both clubs in their pursuit of Champions League football. But the Arsenal faithful showed their class by giving United's star man a warm reception before kick-off.
Ronaldo was warming up in front of the home crowd when they clapped in a show of support after the loss of his newborn son on Monday. The Portugal captain acknowledged the gesture before applauding the Arsenal section.
The Emirates crowd also gave a round of applause seven minutes in in tribute to the legend, who famously wears the no.7 shirt for the Red Devils.
