Bayern Munich have opened negotiations with Serge Gnabry about a new contract.
That is according to the club's CEO Oliver Kahn, who was speaking about the German winger's expiring contract.
Gnabry is out of contract in the summer of 2023, which may prompt Bayern to sell this summer if he does not renew.
However, club legend Kahn has poured cold water over rumours linking Gnabry with Real Madrid and Liverpool.
"We are in talks," he said on Sport1.
"Serge knows what we as a club ask of him, also in terms of performance.
"He is in a process of reflection. As soon as things become clearer we will announce it."
