Kota Kinabalu: Chief Minister Datuk Hajiji Noor said the State Government has approved a bonus payment of RM500 to the State’s civil servants in Grade N54 and below, and RM250 for retirees in conjunction with Hari Raya Aidilfitri and the Harvest Festival this year. He said the payment would be disbursed before the respective celebration.
On Tuesday, the Federal Government announced that all Federal civil servants on Grade 56 and below, including those on contract and part-time daily workers under MyStep would receive RM500 in special Aidil Fitri aid.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Ismail Yaakob said pensioners would get similar aid of RM250. It would be paid with the April salary. The RM923 million allocation would benefit two million civil servants and pensioners.
