Trafford, 19, has been playing for Bolton this season and was previously with Accrington but he is being mentioned for a major step-up in Belgium, says The Sun.
Trafford has played 32 League One games this season for the Trotters, who sit tenth.
Anderlecht are currently third in the Belgian top flight.
