Inter Milan defender Alessandro Bastoni admits Atalanta coach Gian Piero Gasperini was a key figure in his career.
Gasperini first gave Bastoni his senior chance with the Nerazzurri.
He said, "Gasperini was fundamental, he focused on me immediately and I consider him fundamental in my path.
"Then (Antonio) Conte confirmed me, I owe him a lot on a technical and mentality level."
Bastoni added: "One of my idols is Steph Curry, my dream is to see him play. He has changed the rules of the game on a defensive level in basketball and I would like to do the same in football. I don't just like to defend but I also like to attack and create, go to the offensive phase."
