Zlatan Ibrahimovic couldn't stand Edinson Cavani at PSG, it has been revealed.

Uruguay striker Cavani has followed Sweden legend Ibrahimovic's path by moving from Paris Saint-Germain to Manchester United – and there was little love between the pair during their time at Parc des Princes, according to Michael Ciani.

Defender Ciani shared a dressing room with Ibrahimovic when the fiery forward began his spectacular spell at LA Galaxy in 2018, and the retired former France international has said the AC Milan talisman's disdain extended to Cavani's friends.

Ciani told RMC Sport: "If you are close to Cavani, Ibra does not like it. Either you are with Ibra, or you are against him.

"He told me that everything was fine with [then-manager] Laurent Blanc at PSG. The only person he did not get along with was Cavani.

"He told me that he only hated three or four people in his career... and one of them was Cavani."
