SANDAKAN: The Democratic Action Party (DAP) will fully support the Anti-Hopping Bill to be tabled at a special Parliament session on April 11.
DAP National Chairman Lim Guan Eng said it was also a historic event because for the first time, people who switch parties will lose their seats if the Bill is adopted.
“Party hopping will be outlawed and assemblymen will no longer be able to disrespect the mandate granted to them by party hopping,” he said after attending a get-together ceremony at Kenalanmu Seafood.
