Brighton manager Graham Potter believes Manchester City are the 'best team in world football'.
The Seagulls held off City for a half before going down 3-0 at the Etihad on Wednesday.
Pep Guardiola's men are now one point ahead of Liverpool on top of the table, and Potter couldn't speak highly enough of his opponents.
"Clearly the best team won, we have to admit that," Potter said. "I can't fault the boys for effort they put into the game.
"It is rare you get to play against the best in your field and Manchester City are one of if not the best team in world football at the moment.
"You'd be a fool not learn from that experience."
