Norwich City boss Dean Smith is happy seeing Teemu Pukki sign a new contract.
It was announced yesterday that Pukki had extended his deal.
He said this morning: "I think it is very important [he stays]. He is an important cog in the machine and we wanted to extend it and he is more than happy to stay as well."
Smith also talked up the form of Kieran Dowell.
"He has shown in the last couple of games that he can step up. He has got the opportunity now which is good for him and he has got a goal and an assist in the last game."
