Kota Kinabalu: Two Navy personnel were killed after crashing their motorcycles into the tail of a trailer lorry which was making a U-turn near the Jalan Sepanggar tunnel, near here, on Wednesday.
The two victims, Norasnizam Mohd Alui, 35, and Ahmad Faiz Mohd Hanif, 38, were both confirmed dead at the scene due to severe head injuries.
According to City Police Chief Asst Comm Mohd Zaidi Abdullah, the incident on the road leading to the Navy base in Sepanggar involved a Yamaha Y15ZR motorcycle, a Yamaha Y16ZR motorbike as well as a Nissan trailer truck.
