Spanish striker Alvaro Morata has reportedly given Arsenal the thumbs down regarding a summer move.
The Gunners are hoping to sign a center-forward in the transfer window, as they have lost Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to Barcelona in the winter.
With Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah likely to leave on free transfers, there is space in the squad for one or two new forwards.
According to La Stampa, via Sport Witness, Arsenal attempted to talk to Morata about a summer move, and were willing to pay Atlético Madrid £25 million to secure him.
However, Morata wants to extend his spell at Juventus, where he is currently on loan.
For their part, Juve are happy with Morata, but want to renegotiate with Atleti regarding the terms of making his loan permanent in the summer.
