PETALING JAYA: Police have reported another death in custody, this time in Pahang.
Bukit Aman Integrity and Standards Compliance Department Director Commissioner Datuk Azri Ahmad said a 42-year-old man died at the centralised lock-up in Indera Mahkota yesterday.
The detainee was given medicine for tuberculosis yesterday evening and found unconscious about an hour later.
He was then brought me to Hospital Kuantan, which confirmed his death.
The man was due to attend a hearing tomorrow after being charged for drug-related offence.
