Real Madrid are rethinking their move for Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland.

Marca says Manchester City and Real Madrid are the main candidates for his signature, although Paris Saint-Germain are also in the race.

However, Real Madrid's efforts to sign the Norwegian have been dealt a blow as Mino Raiola has made his extortionate demands for his client clear.

Raiola is asking for Haaland to have a salary of 30 million euros net, which the Real Madrid club hierarchy are unwilling to lay out.

Also, the 21-year-old's injury record is causing Los Blancos concern. He has suffered 14 injuries already, three of which have come this season.

Given the terrible injury records of Gareth Bale and Eden Hazard, Real Madrid know that they cannot afford another costly mistake.
