Brentford are in talks over a deal for Shakhtar Donetsk winger Mykhaylo Mudryk.
The 21-year-old was a key target for the Premier League club in the January transfer window.
However, they were unable to agree a fee with Shakhtar, who were seeking more than £20 million.
According to Sky Sports, Mudryk is set to leave the Ukrainian team, as a result of Russia's invasion of the nation.
Shakhtar are open to selling their prized assets, and they are hoping they can agree a fee with Brentford for Mudryk for a summer transfer.
The youngster is playing for Shakhtar during their "World Tour For Peace" set of friendlies, and played against Olympiakos over the weekend.
