Kota Kinabalu: Four retired riders from Sabah have come up with a challenging idea to raise RM50,000 in aid of a dialysis centre in Kota Kinabalu.
The gutsy foursome from Seeni Sana, a common interest group (CIG) – George Ligunjang, Frank Yapp, Terry Ryman and Auther J. Kimon – are planning to embark on their epic ride dubbed Tour de Peninsula East Coast in collaboration with Persatuan Hemodialisis Kinabalu, Sabah.
Group spokesman Ligunjang said the charity ride to the eastern corridor of Peninsular Malaysia starts on July 24, covering a distance of 1100km over a period of 12 days. It was mooted by Seeni Sana.
