Olympique Marseille president Pablo Longoria is keen to keep hold of Arsenal defender William Saliba.

However, Nice-Matin says Longoria won't seek to buy Saliba unless OM qualify for next season's Champions League.

Even a new loan could be dependent on a top four finish.

For his part, Saliba has made it clear he's willing to stay in Marseille beyond the end of this season.

He said last week: “Obviously I can't just be on the bench at Arsenal and be happy. I want to play starter. Afterwards, if I enter the rotation as a substitute, it's not like staying with the under-23s and never being in the group."
