Valencia defender Gabriel Paulista says they gave everything in their Copa del Rey final defeat by Real Betis.
After the score finished 1-1, Betis won the shootout 5-4.
Gabriel later said: "It is very hard to lose a final, but I am very proud of my team. We gave everything. We fought until the end.
"It's a moment to congratulate Betis, who have been having a great season.
"There is a huge sadness. Nobody wants to lose any trophy, but I am enormously proud of my teammates. Many people talked about us. They say that we played bad football, but we showed that we are capable of anything. We are a team that fights until the last moment.
"We can only thank our fans. We came into the match so well because of them. Many fans have come from Valencia without a ticket, just to support us. Now, until the end of the season, we have to give even more than today. This club deserve much more."
