Tottenham defender Emerson Royal insists he has no regrets making the move from Barcelona.
While he has complained about how he was sold by Barca earlier this season, Emerson says he is happy at Spurs.
He told Què T'hi Jugues: "In Barcelona, I was going to fight for the position. Barça was going through a very complicated economic moment and I had good options for me here at Tottenham, in a league that is the best in the world.
"Barca needed the money. I helped Barça and Barça helped me. I wanted to succeed at Barça. I had this desire and I was going to achieve it. When I arrived at Barcelona, I saw the club's situation and they spoke to me. The decision was very complicated because I didn't want to leave.
"But I chose to leave because I saw it was the best option for me. I think I did very well and today I am in one of the best clubs in the world and in the best league in the world."
