AC Milan hero Billy Costacurta feels they'll fall short this season due to their attacking options.
Milan are keeping hold of the Serie A leadership under pressure from Inter Milan.
Costacurta said, “I don't think it's the fact that we focus on the squad. I think the strength of the squad is the sum of it's parts.
“In this period Milan is just like that, how can you say now that Milan are not playing the game or doing the right things to be a team, to be a squad. In my opinion it is and it showed that against Inter.
“The truth is that up front, and I take responsibility for what I say, they're not up to the standard of the team behind them.
“The team still manages to play a good game but up front the individuals are not at their best, this has happened and it can happen."
