AC Milan hero Kaka admits he's shocked seeing Italy miss this year's World Cup.
Defeat to North Macedonia last week in their playoff saw Italy miss the World Cup for a second consecutive time.
Speaking to Rai, Kaka commented on Italy's failure.
“I'm sorry that Italy are out, a World Cup without Italy is a shame but it's an alarm for Italian football," said the Brazilian.
He also said: "From the outside, I see Milan are coming back, same as Inter and Juventus, who are doing well in Italy and Europe. I don't see all these problems from the outside, but there is always something to improve. I am optimistic about Italian football."
