Liverpool are launching a bid for RB Salzburg midfielder Luka Sucic.
Likened to Real Madrid star Luka Modric, Sucic is being watched by some of Europe's biggest clubs this season.
BILD says Liverpool are aiming to beat all rivals with an early £12m offer. Juventus and AC Milan are among those keen.
Former Juventus scout Christian Argurio recently said of Susic: "He is an attacking mezzala who is often compared to Lazio's (Sergej) Milikovic-Savic.
"He is a great prospect that I would see well in the Italian championship."
