Benfica defender Jan Vertonghen admits they were left frustrated after their Champions League defeat to Liverpool.
The Reds took a 3-1 first-leg quarterfinal lead back to England last night.
Vertonghen said, "The goal scored in the second half helped us a lot.
"It woke up the fans, we believed that we could equalise in the remaining 40 minutes and even achieve more.
"It's a pity that we missed the third goal in the end."
