KOTA KINABALU: The State government has agreed to immediately approve funds to provide boats to the affected villagers and school children in Kampung Nangkawangan, Nabawan, and nearby villages pending construction of new bridges.
Chief Minister Datuk Seri Hajiji Noor has ordered the Nabawan District Office to contact the Chief Minister Department (CMD) to procure the funding to buy the needed boats.
"If the boats that they (affected villagers and children) want, then Insya-Allah, we will approve immediately," he said.
