Kieran Dowell was delighted to be part of Norwich City's win against Burnley.
Dowell came into the starting eleven for the second time this season as City beat Burnley 2-0 at home.
He told the club's website: “It was one nil for a long time, we just needed that little extra bit of quality, which we couldn't quite find second half, until the great ball by Mathias and a great finish by Teemu. It was really nice to get that second goal to put the game to bed."
City managed to keep most of Burnley's set pieces and crosses at bay, with only two real clear-cut chances from the visitors.
“There were plenty of crosses to defend and I thought the lads at the back were really good. It was a real team effort with stopping crosses and we fully deserved the three points today.
“Burnley have got options to switch it up and that's what they did in the second half, but Grant and Gibbo at the back had them under control."
Brandon Williams and Lukas Rupp both made returns from injury today after coming off the bench in the second half.
“It's a good time to have lads coming back from injury, so it was nice to see Lukas and Brandon back on the pitch."
